Francisco believes music has kept him sane and has opened doors that seem impossible to unlock. At age eleven he left his country of birth, Chile with his family arriving in the UK as a refugee and without a word of English. He didn’t return until 1994, a grown man. This shaped his musical core more than anything and ensured that many of his lyrics are comments on life and are more about the struggles and strife of everyday people, rather than love and loving.
